My Precious Self
A lot of things in this world make people happy and make them feel better. And there is one thing that never leaves people and one thing they will never get rid of even in case they want to. That thing is a self of people, the precious self of people. Well, that self sometimes precious for people and there are also people who feel indifferent about themselves and they care more about people around them and their interests. Though, those people of the first group are people of different nature and they care more about themselves and their interests. And they are egoistic people, they always prefer their interests before the interests of other people and they always make their choices in a favor of themselves and never in a favor of other people.
In most cases people say that it is wrong to be an egoist but it is the common thought of people that was suggested to them. Indeed, people never thought over the egoism and they have no their own point of view to this phenomenon. Actually, egoism is a common feature of all the people in this world. Though, there are such people who struggle against it and they do their best in order to get rid of this feature, and there are people who never struggle against it and they believe that there is nothing wrong in being egoistic. They believe they just follow their desires and their interests and they care about those because no one else except them will care about those.
Egoism is not that easy and common feature. It is hard to realize where the care about interests stops and egoism starts. This is the main thing people bother about and this is the main factor that makes people egoists or just people who want o care about things they want. There are many different kinds of egoism and those are peculiar according to their nature. The egoism may be rational and irrational, it may be the defense mechanism or it may be just ignorance to interests of other people. Many different kinds of egoism are common for people and those depend on the peculiarities of character of a person who is an egoist.
